Assuming it is a steelbook, will pick it up to match the previous seasons I got. If it ends up being something else, will just wait for a price drop on the standard release.

i went with the best buy lenticulars because they were smart and re-released prior seasons with lenticulars

I heard about this listing a short while ago....was wondering when a thread would appear!

I'm amazed, with as much TV on BD Target sells, they haven't gone back and done steelbooks for the first two seasons. I wonder if there is some sort of rights issues, since the show changed show runner hands?
TWD is solid gold right now.

Same for me on both fronts and there was no way I was subbing out the German or UK steelbooks for the first two seaons.

Heck, I even got the FTWD lenti at Walmart a couple weeks ago to go with my BB TWD lentis.

I have the digibooks of season 1 and 2, good enough.

While I love the cover art, I'm not pleased with the price and the fact it's a JUMBO sized steelbook.

If only I can find a slim steelbook case that can hold five discs.

They need to be jumbo at this point to match the previous seasons.

I don't know where you've been, but ALL of the Target exclusive steelbooks for this series (3, 4, 5, and now 6) have been jumbo steelbooks.

Day one, as usual. Put me down as another person who wants Target to do seasons 1 and 2 in steelbook to match the rest. It bothers the hell out of me having 3, 4, and 5 in steelbook but not 1 and 2.

If they ever do get around to making Steelbooks for Seasons 1 and 2, I think Season 1 could end up being a normal Steelbook (not jumbo) because there are less discs.

I sent Anchor Bay an email to request seasons 1 and 2. They said they were still deciding. Everybody should contact them to let them know people want it.
