It´ll come out from Universal. So maybe it´ll come out in other territories as well.

I would advise against buying anything from Fabulous Films if you're region locked. The unskippable Fabulous Films logo that plays at the beginning of all their discs is 1080/50i, so if your player can't handle PAL the disc will just lock up.

Yes they are. The other Pulp releases I own have the proper copyright notices. Universal licence their titles out quite a bit in Europe, for example Koch Media in Germany have released several Universal titles and Elephant in France released the Airport sequels.

Pulp's releases run the gamut from fair to excellent depending on the source materials they have to work with. Their English audio is always 2.0 lossy (but at least it's stereo where appropriate), and the transfers are sometimes very good, again depending on how old the masters are.
They're the only label yet to release CAT'S EYE on Blu, DEAD MEN DON'T WEAR PLAID and TWINS plus a few others. Some of those look just okay but ROLLERCOASTER looks really, really good. And all of their releases are very inexpensive on top of it most of the time. |

CAR WASH is also extremely pricey too. Hope that's not a trend for their future catalog releases (particularly when you consider how inexpensive Return of the Pink Panther and Blame It On Rio were)

Your player will display "Dolby Digital Stereo" if it's a 2 channel track, but it doesn't mean it's actually stereo. Just means it's 2 channel.
Unfortunately it's mono, all the sound is coming through the center channel in my surround set-up (just like Twins and The Wraith). The Italian soundtracks, are of course, in stereo and 5.1, respectively. Too bad, hopefully the UK release gets it right. |
