Please, Please, Please let this happen. I like Bioware. Knights of the Old Republic 1 and 2, Jade Empire. Thats when I had a Xbox. Had money issues so I had to sell it. I would love to see Mass Effect for the PS3.

Far more likely it's headed to PC than to PS3.

Until you actually SEE Mass Effect for the PS3, don't believe a rumor.

ME2 might come to the PS3, but it'll be another crappy EA port.

Hard to say it depends is MS keeps the rights to it. I don't see why they won't the game sold over 1 million already and it was already plan to be a trilogy.

It is merely an analysts opinion, but it is also well founded. However, we do not know the terms of the Bioware-MS agreement so there could be legal issues to consider, at least with ME1.

I know the date but it also says Update 2 which means they added to it, but I don't know when.

Microsoft is publishing Mass Effect 2 and 3, and reportedly own the rights to Mass Effect 1, so this rumor has very little substance.

hopefully EA will develop for the ps3 first then port it to the 360. alot of developers are doing it this way to take advantage of the ps3 technology

I would definitely not hold my breath for either mass effect or bio shock to come to PS3. Enjoy what games we have, and since IMO there aren't as many good ones as for 360, spend the extra time and money on some quality blu ray movies

Note - I do expect that eventually PS3 will beat out 360 and then we might start to see some better exclusives, but I don't see this starting to happen until at least next holiday season.

EA does love money, but well, until someone from EA or Bio says it. I'm not well inclined to believe it. Reason largely being, Bio's roots are still in the PC development cycle. They've migrated, but with their fairly slow rate of game generation, only a handful of games so far.

Course, I don't want to see Bioware end up like Bethsoft but that's ok.

With how crappy the performance of Mass Effect is, I shudder to think of what a crappy PS3 port would end up as.

I loved playing Mass Effect, but the final battle was a slideshow. Combining tons of special effects with a super fast boss in a game which had slowdown all over the place...not a good combo.
