I got season 4 way before the US one came out. And this season 5 is on its way to me right now!

The new season of Homeland usually begins in early October, but Season 6 has been pushed back to a January 2017 premiere, so the Season 5 blu ray won't be released until December because of this.

Still no release date for the US. Makes sense that it will be released just before the new season airs in January 2017, but I'm going to import the UK release because I could see this being released as DVD-only in the US given the waning interest in BluRay.

Though it looks like I waited too long - Amazon.co.uk has none left in stock, and has a guesstimated wait time of 1 to 2 months before they might get any more.

I suppose the best move is to keep the Uk one on order, and if a US BluRay is announced and released before more arrive, cancel the UK order.

Aussie release has been on our shelves since the end of April.
Plays in Region A (checked it myself), if any US members want to import from an alternative source to the UK (and don't want to wait until Jan '17).
Should be good value, considering the strength of Aussie dollar to US.

"...Homeland: The Complete Fifth Season…on 1/10. Extras will include 2 featurettes (The Evolution of Carrie Mathison and Homeland in Berlin: Beyond the Wall)."

I haven't found any mention of whether or not the UK Blu has those 2 featurettes…the UK *DVD* version has The Evolution of Carrie, and the Austrailian has The Evolution of Carrie. So, chances are at least one of them.
