I wish they'd to a II/III/IV combo.

Guess they saw dollar signs when people started to import the Australian release.

Definitely my least favorite of the sequels, but will maybe pick it up on a deep discount for completeness' sake.

Ditto. Throw in The Psycho Legacy doc as well. (I believe SF has it.)

That's what I did with Terminator: Salvation. I've still not bothered to watch it.

The worst of the sequels, but I'll definitely be picking it up to complete my Psycho set on Blu-ray and officially retire the dvd 3-pack.

No BATES MOTEL after all, unless they release it separately later on.

It'd only be in SD (the Aussie collection has it on a DVD) so it could be included as a special feature.

Sure, it's the weakest of the 3 sequels, but I still genuinely enjoy it. I'll gladly pick it up to complete the series. (Well, not counting the still MIA remake. But that's not a big deal.)

It's weird to me when people say IV is a lesser sequel. I think it's every bit as good as Psycho III.

Is it just because of the made-for-TV stigma? It aired on Showtime, so it's not like they had to restrain themselves.

I really want the Psycho 98 Remake on BLU also. Makes you wonder if Universal will drop that themselves.

I want dts HD 5.1 audio on it or I'd import the Aussie release. I'll wait and see what happens. Esp with the upcoming summer lead Universal Best Buy exclusives like The Burbs and Great Outdoors. I can see Universal doing the same for some titles in the fall.

Never seen 4 but I'm almost definetly going to pick it up. Love the 2nd and 3rd but don't really care for the 1st one.

I know that picture is universally regarded as terrible, but I actually quite enjoyed it. Much more than T3 anyway, that was the real clunker of the lot (basically just a sad cash-in stealing all the campy jokes from T2).

T:Salvation at least tried to go in a different direction. It stripped out the camp from T2 and especially T3. Maybe the different/darker vibe ruined it for some? I don't know, but I enjoyed it the 1st time and found it even better on subsequent viewings. Never cared what the reviews said. T3 I have like no interest in anymore. It's really just T1 that is the classic, T2 is great too (bigger budget) but it's T1 that always stood out to me as the best film.

Sorry to disappoint you, but I didn't acquire it nor do I ever plan to. There are much better films to go after.

pretty amusing to see all the "meh" posts above after reading (enduring) the endless requests for this title the past couple years.....

being a big Tony Perkins fan I'm thrilled to see this released. Without question it's the least of the 4 films, but it still entertains...

Psycho IV had a screenplay written by the original Psycho screenwriter so I think it has a bit more credibility than II and III. It pretty much ignores them too which also makes it seem a lot more legitimate, though the end result is worse than II and III by far.

Bates Motel '87 in SD would be a great extra. If you haven't seen it you're in for a treat because its shockingly awful. It was actually a pilot for a show that would have been Twilight Zone meets the Love Boat and as awful as that sounds the actual execution of it is worse than you'd ever imagine. The network buried it on July 4th which is almost certainly the least-watched television night of the entire year.

It's not a sequel, it's a prequel despite the numbering.
