Aliens: Defiance

For you fans of Alien/Aliens, Dark Horse Comics released today "Aliens: Defiance #1" written by Brian Wood. It's an ongoing monthly series that takes place between the two Alien and Aliens films. A great read, artwork is very well done as well, I think Alien fans will not be disappointed.

Brian Wood mentioned "12 issues" is what he is signed for, that doesn't mean it will end right at 12 though, I would think if the series is a huge hit for the duration he would stay on if Dark Horse would want him to, but I am sure there is much more contractual but it will be at least 12 issues. He also has a new series starting up with Dark Horse in August called "Briggs Land" which will be ongoing and already in development as a show for AMC.
