Yes, they do blu-rays now, but they got their start in budget DVD packs. They have DVD packs ranging from 4 up to (at one time) 250 movie collections. I'm quite the sucker for their 50 packs and have the 250 packs of horror & western. I generally view these as inexpensive ways to preview movies that I might want to purchase a better quality DVD/Blu-Ray of in the future. Anyone else have any of these packs, or videos discussing them? Please share!

I've seen their multipacks but the one thing that stops me is no CC or subtitles. I understand they're a budget line company but I have to have subs to enjoy a film. If it wasn't for that I'd pick up some of their sets.

I've bought a few sets from them - 3rd Rock From the Sun, Roseanne, The Cosby Show, and most recently Mad About You. The video and audio quality is sufficient, and I've had no problems with their discs. For the prices they go for, I can't complain.

I wish that they had some kind of checklist, or a page that includes all of the items they've released. More than once I've bought something that I already have in a bigger set. Case in point is the "Inside The Criminal Mind set". It consists of all previously released material, which I had, but the new product description was vague about its' contents. Some sort of a master list. Because if a new 50 pack set comes out with everything I already have, I'll skip it. But if there are 10-20 new films I'll probably pick it up. As of now I've been avoiding the new packs just for that reason, so they don't make a sale from me by being vague or not having a checklist anyway. I love Mill Creek, but don't want to have 22 copies of "The Bat" in my collection!

I have Hunter: The Complete Series and the first two seasons of Roseanne, as well as the first four seasons of Wings (released in two season-per-set format). I was irked when they then left those releases incomplete and just released a "Complete Series" box instead.

I wish I could have gotten their release of the 1993 action show Cobra with Michael Dudikoff. I bought the Canadian release by VEI in 2007 but the video quality can be iffy at times. After seeing those other Mill Creek releases, I thought their Cobra would probably look better. But I never got around to getting it, and now it appears to be OOP and a little pricey.

Yeah, I've picked up dozens of their releases over the years - everything from single movies to complete series sets. Recently, I picked up several of the "Decade You Were Born" releases and a few of their 8 packs (Red Alert Action, Deadly Secrets, Deadly Desires). Often, the smaller multipacks are so cheap (~$5) that if there are one or two movies that look interesting, I'll buy them just for those.

Does anyone know of any software available for free on the internet that they could recommend for cataloging Mill Creek titles to use as a companion for avoiding double dipping as much as possible? I've got a lot of their 50 packs and 2 of their 250 packs, so it would take a while to make a complete list of what I have, but the money saved would be worth it over time.

What about this site's DVD database? You just have to add any releases that you have that are not yet in it.

Never even considered that! I may give that a go and see how it works out. Thanks!

Good ol Mill Creek- time for them to release a blu of Finding Forrester, since I know they have the DVD rights!

It would also be nice if they did a full 4-pcak or whatever of the Hostel movies and the rest Stop collection, instead of just spreading them out piecemeal into OTHER 4-packs.

I'm putting all of my Mill Creek sets into my "lists" database, so anyone can go in there and compare upcoming releases to older ones they already have. I hope this will help others with comparing titles and avoiding repeats and double dipping wherever possible.

All right. I've got a question that I hope someone can answer for me. One of the Mill Creek Packs that I've done in my lists section is the Western 250 Movie Collection Pack. I typed in the titles, and entered the ones that came up. Those that didn't come up, I listed in the description at the top of the page, so people would know what all 250 titles were. The problem is that I decided to look up one of those unfound movies on IMDB and it showed right up there, but not in the list search here. Is there a way to manually enter movies in the lists section?

I've got some with no pics, and I think I can handle doing that. But I've searched the forums trying to find a way to import an IMDB listing to my lists section, or to add a movie manually. If you go to my lists, you'll get an idea of what I mean.

Yeah, Mill Creek cramps a lot in their packages but they're affordable and straight to the point.

I can't fault them with the job they have been doing with Ultraman franchise on Bluray which has been amazing, classy, subtitled and great info booklets and packaging all for $20 per set

USA Documentary series 100 Years of Horror (Mill Creek DVD release)

Does anyone here have Mill Creek's DVD set of documentary series 100 Years of Horror (hosted by Sir Christopher Lee)? I found out about it after seeing that a portion of it is airing as part of The Cellar Club on Talking Pictures TV tomorrow night (including Caroline Munro's intro, it's airing from 11.05 pm - 1.15 am). Below is the Blu-ray.com link:

Mill Creek posted on their Facebook page earlier (four posts in total) about a name and logo change. They'll now be known as Alliance Home Entertainment.

Took a bit but it was somewhat expected since the original report back in June and I expect the same to happen with Distribution Solutions.
