Have to agree with CD on this one. Horrible choice. I went to see this when it first came out with the mindset that I was going to enjoy it and was absolutely disappointed. Very easy pass for me.

You really think film feedback rating matters at this collecting level?

Sure, I suppose a few buy high end releases to actually watch them...but I'd be willing to wager more do not.
Plus boutique shops like FA, when they strike a deal with the studio, are handed a list of titles they can work with(Universal I believe here) and they choose the ones they can sell. We can see they have already gone through the bigger Universal tent pole titles that might have been on that list.
Sometimes you have to take the bad with the good, or just pass on it.
Think of it like this: with a print run of only 350, it will probably sell out and possibly help FA fund some other project that you might like.

Fair point. Some people will buy because "OMG FAC I MUST BUY AND MAINTAIN MY COLLECTION NUMBER" and then they'll leave it sealed anyway. Oh well. Glad I don't have to worry about that.

Interesting choice. I think FA was supposed to do this earlier when it included the 3D BD but it was suddenly canceled. I guess maybe they were still under contract to do it but decided on a much smaller release since the 3D got dropped and maybe b/c the interest wasn't there. As for any other info, Collector03601 posted this

He posted that on HDN in the thread for it. As for the thing about how they might go about it, it's just speculation on my part, but they seem to value their most consistant/returning customers highest, which makes sense.
