Hey all, just thought I would introduce myself on here. I have been reading the HD vs BD arguments a lot and getting a lot of enjoyment out of it =)

Personally I am a supporter of Bluray and love the quality it produces.

Many people I know still use standard and come to me for advice on what to get. Of course I tell them Bluray is the way to go! My understanding of the pros and cons of BD is simply it can hold more data and produces a finer picture due to the thinner layer of protection. The only downfall is the cost of production and the difficulty of coding the disc? Which would make sense, seeing as how few games are made for PS3 in comparison to Xbox.

Some of those details may not be exact, but that is my general understanding.

Not to mention how someone could support anything microsoft supports knowing how well their latest creation turned out (Windows Vista).

Ok so i feel the need to take some shots at HD =)

Anyway, my current setup.

LG 42' LCD 1080p w/ Klipsch Quintet III/10' Sub combo and the Harman Kardon AVR 247 Receiver. Comcast HDTV and Sony Ps3

I think i have about 13 bluray movies now and hoping to soon get the rest of mine replaced. although there are quite a few which do not have a release date on =(

alright, so there it is.. my electronic life in a nutshell...

again,
hi all!
