The villain gets captured on purpose and then does some horrible counter attack and escapes and we say: whoa he wanted to be captured. Some examples include the expendables 3 and Skyfall. Are there any more examples? And please correct me if this has happened before the dark knight. I could be wrong. Nevertheless it is a recurrent movie event.
