The Farmer (1977) Supremely Rare Revenge Film

This 1977 revenge film with Gary Conway and Angel Tompkins was released by Columbia and played widely but briefly in theatres. According to several commenters at various forums, military base showings followed for a time and then...nothing. No TV, VHS, laserdisc, DVD or even unofficial "collector" dubs for nearly 30 years. Several years ago, Code Red began running the trailer on their early works and even announced specs. Some years later, Scorpion was said to have the rights. Bill at Code Red has said even recently that only twenty some odd units would be sold; not to argue but I have poured over the web for ages about this holy grail and have seen far more people interested than that at IMDb, Facebook and this forum to name a few. Not pressing either label for details, but would just like to tout this film in the proper wish list forum in hopes that many others will agree.
