I will be buying these on HD DVD:

I Now Pronounce You Chuck And Larry
Sexy Beast
A Mighty Heart
License To Wed
No Reservations
The Heartbreak Kid
Stardust
Elizabeth: The Golden Age

This may sound a little rebellious to say on a Blu Ray forum, but where there is an option between Blu Ray and HD DVD I always buy the Blu Ray version, but I'm not going to miss out on or wait indefinitely to see the films I want, just because multi-million dollar companies are too greedy to agree.

I will be watching Transformers tonight, I watched The Bourne Supremacy last night,
And I couldn't wait any longer for Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, or V for Vendetta.

By the way I have 90 Blu rays and 30 HD DVD's.

Liscense to Wed is on both formats i believe, why on god's earth would you buy the heartbreak kid, the rest are pretty average movies that won't sell more than 20k copies.

I will get the Blu ray version of Licence to Wed then, it's just for the misses anyway.
As for The Heart Break Kid I like Michelle Monaghan.
And as for sales figures, I genuinely couldn't care less how much anything sells as long as I get to see what I want when I want.

when you buy red you undo all the work and money spent by the blu fans. Neutral is avs they want to have their cake and eat it to. It is a sign of no respect we keep puting out fires and you keep lighting them.

Some of us are steadfast and will wait to have Transformers in a media format that will have hardware support in 2009.
Others of us are less patient.

For what reason does the OP come here except to stir up trouble? So what you want to go and buy DUD. So go and buy it and keep it to yourself.

Wow how much of a check do you collect from your corporate masters? oh you dont? So basically you waste your time fighting some "war" so some companies can get rich? ok, whatever floats your boat.

hmm well ive got a better plan

Watch the films you like on upscaled dvd, and DONT prolong the war or risk the future of HDM by buying on both formats. I will only buy on both if it really goes totally stale, but that will also mean niche market at the very best, which ISNT what i want.

As you watch it, think "This is the only title that almost made HD-DVD a blip on the radar".

And the list of dung that you're buying certainly doesn't make us envious!

He wants to see the technologically superior movie format prevail.

Any fan of movies should feel the same.

Transformers is one title I would like to see on Blu-ray but after what they pulled at Paramount I hate to say it.

Nuh uh. (Not that it's a blockbuster title or anything anyway, but it DOES have PCM vs. TrueHD)

No Reservations is also available on Blu-ray. Both Warner . . . Perhaps a little more research on the OP's part is in order.

What is the point of this thread, really? "I'm rebellious, I post about HD DVD's on a Blu-ray site."

Honestly, I don't think anyone cares.

Rebelious, No.
Antagonistic.

What could you gain by starting a thread like this?
Pat on the back?

OK, Horay for you!

I agree. I'm vocally format neutral, but I don't start threads on the BLU-RAY forum about the "other" format.

Wrong website buddy!
