Well it is lighter then I expected at 485 lbs, but I am sure it uses about 1000watts

You can buy a CRT Beamer for less and it will last 20-30 years...

You can also buy, one of the best 1080p projector out there, for about 5000$ (JVC), 70,000$ what's the point..
