Hands on with the wii

The above link points to an IGN weekly number 27 that goes hands on with the Wii console in it's final form as well as the remote and nun chuck. The sensor bar and wifi are not mentioned. In order to play the video, you will need either windows media player or quicktime. I would recommend downloading the video as the file size is quite large to play it. If anyone has any problems or questions reguarding the videos or the website, let me know.

I know Sony has already shipped out their demo PS3 units to IGN. I hope Nintendo does the same soon. It’s always cool to see what you will be getting in the box before the system is released.

I do know that Matt, a member of IGN that does the Gamecube and Wii mailbag did give a hands on with the Wii console. I think the event was in New York when Nintendo gave out final details on the Wii. I do wonder if the demo ps3 is the final ps3 that we will put preorders on or if it is not the final version because the IGN team has a previous demo unit, but no main menu so this was before the conference in San Francisco.

Yup, IGN have the absolute best coverage of anything Wii, Gamespot's Wii coverage is rotten.

I wouldn't say that the gamespot team's coverage is rotten, they just aren't as good as IGN. IGN, without a doubt, is the best of the best anywhere.
