IN DEVELOPMENT: Marvel's White Tiger

Word reaches Bleeding Cool via sources from production crew sources that Marvel has just wrapped filming four pilot shorts intended to be considered as series for Netflix, the home of Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Punisher and Defenders.

I have been told that one of the pilot shorts is called White Tiger.
There have been a number of characters in Marvel’s history that have claimed the title but Bleeding Cool has been told that this is a female actor. We’re scrambling for details, but as we understand it, this would be the Angela Del Toro versions of the character, ex-FBI agent, niece of the original White Tiger, born and bred in the Bronx. If so, and if this is one of the shows that Netflix pick up, that would be Marvel’s first Hispanic superhero lead to hit the screen.

White Tiger was a legacy hero, she used mystical amulets to channel the Tiger God and give herself superhuman abilities as well as camouflage. She was corrupted by the Hand and turned supervillain, currently a member of the New Revengers in the New Avengers comic.

Legion isn't connected to the movies, I believe they've said before it's not set in the same world or something as X-Men even though it's related to X-Men.

The only Marvel shows im interested in are Daredevil, The Punisher, Luke Cage and The Defenders tbh :/

Legion's not connected to the MCU. Damage Control doesn't look likely to come out, at least right now. And if Netflix stays at only two seasons a year, it won't be hard.

Plus if they want to do more seasons of Luke Cage and Iron Fist I could easily see them having Luke Cage show up on Jessica Jones as a recurring character and consolidating both him and Iron Fist into a Heroes for Hire spinoff since that's what a lot of people know them from anyway, that makes room for The Punisher. Also, The Defenders isn't going to be as often either, if they even want to do it more than once.

Agents of SHIELD and the sadly cancelled Agent Carter for me. I want to try the Netflix shows sometime but I'll wait until they'll be on Blu-ray. Will definitely be giving the DareDevil Season One Blu-ray a go.
