Will they also include Superman 2: The Director's Cut?

It's the same artwork and number of disks as the release from Zavvi in the UK, and that only has the first disc (i.e. the cinema cut) for both of the first two movies. So, if they go the same way, no Donner cut for Supes II. :-(

So I'm guessing by this thread the DB entry with listing the "5 movies, 7 cuts" is incorrect then? Saw this in the shops last night and saw no mention of alternate versions.

Correct, just the five discs.

Looks like a butchered version of the original anthology released several years ago before the release of Man Of Steel. Glad I got the original U.S. edition. Although it's good to see this collection isn't sullied by the travesty that is the new Superman films. Say what you will about Superman Returns, even with it's faults, it's still a film that is far more reverential to the superman character than Snyder's bastardised "vision"

At 151 mins Superman The Movie is still 20 minutes shorter than it should be. I taped it in 1986 and it is the International cut that runs for about 173 mins.

The 173 min cut is a longer version of the film that was assembled by the film's producers (and without input from director Richard Donner) sometime in the late 70s/early 80s for TV airings, and is not an official cut of the film. It's also my understanding that Donner does not approve of the 173 min version, and was unaware of its existence until the early 2000s.

So therefore, technically, the film as it is on blu-ray is not shorter than it should be.

What are you even babbling about. Dont you get that MoS is an ORIGIN story about an Alien trying to fit into earth and its people. An alien like this can't come onto Earth just being accepted right away not in these times with so much doubt in people now with terror ect. A trust has to be earned. And its now happened in BvS with the sacrifice. Now the ongoing character of DCEU superman is at that time now the Donner films are. He has the trust, he is accepted by the people of Earth. No longer the burden on his shoulder about is he doing the right thing anymore. Now he know he has their full support. He is the savior of Earth.

Exactly what I said. Snyder's Superman films are total toilet and a lame PR style defence of the films isn't going to change my opinion.
