Default The Hunger Games: Complete 4-Film Collection 4K UHD (2012-2015)

VideoETA on Twitter just tweeted an hour ago that the entire Hunger Games collection is coming to 4k blu ray in November. I asked them if they had a source to share, waiting for their answer.

VideoETA has access to a lionsgate website for artwork with upcoming releases and the dates are listed on the covers. November 8th. Preorders should be available in the next month or so.

Love the series, and wouldn't necessarily be opposed to rebuying in UHD.

From videoETA:

@VideoETA: Yeah, Lionsgate's B2B art site. Was grabbing art for other titles and noticed these. All 4 films, 11/8.

The site that has the cover art is private and is only available to those granted access, but it's an official site from Lionsgate for vendors etc. VideoETA told me that preorder options should be available soon ,but it's real nonetheless!

It wouldn't surprise me if this was true. Lionsgate will wanna double dip while the series is still somewhat popular and in the public conscious. You don't wanna wait another 2-3 years until people have moved on and forgotten about it.

I just hope they don't screw up the transfers like they have on their other catalog titles.

I'm in for all. I enjoy them as a companion to the novels. Catching Fire's Imax scenes should be fun to see, and I can't get enough Atmos/X.

Hmm...all available 11/8 makes it sound like there wont be a boxset. Hopefully they at least consider the first 2 old enough to only charge $20 for them.

‏@dvdmike No collection announced yet. First three with a $22.99 SRP. Last one with a $42.99 SRP. I assume all spec features are same as BR.

I'd be stunned if Catching Fire ditched the IMAX scenes on the UHD.

I'm game for this!
Didn't pick up the 6-disc collection as I waited to see what they could come up with in UHD.
Hope they release a box set with all the extras as well as singles.
