Personally I wish they would condense Mockingjay parts 1 & 2 into one good movie. This was a 400 page book almost identical in length to Catching Fire. There was no reason whatsoever to split this book into a 2 part movie and they are the worst of the series by far.

^Only the first film should be a 2K upscale. The rest (CatchingFire, Mockingjay 1 & 2) have a 4K DI.

Personally, I felt the films just got better and better for each installment. First was actually kind of mediocre, only reason I'm getting it is for completion's sake.

^Share mostly the same thoughts. Would even go as far to say that Divergent, to me, was better than Hunger Games. But Catching Fire was a big improvement and it got better with the Mockingjay films, imo.

PQ wise, Lionsgate's inept catalog B-team might strike again. Their full priced $42.99 msrp titles have been fine, but lower msrp $22.99 catalog titles have all had black level issues. If that trend continues MJ2 should look fine but the other three may look fubared.

All Lionsgate 4k releases should be boycotted until they recall every disk with the bad encoding mistake. Such a rippiff to spend money on something and get a broken product brand new due to a corporations ineptitude. Send lionsgate a message. Get the word out how incompetent they are that the can't even qc the release of millions of dollars of movies on 4k disks.

While I agree that Lionsgate should fix the bad discs all boycotting will do is convince Lionsgate that 4k isn't selling and they will stop all releases.

Because unlike the other 3, Mockingjay Part 2 is still considered a "new" title, whereas the others are considered catalogue titles. Most companies sell their catalogue titles at a cheaper price to get more sales, as it encourages double dipping to a higher degree, since a lot of people already have them in a different format.
