PS2 arcade controller compatibility problem - Blu-ray Forum

Hey there. I've bought a pair of Pelican PS2 to PS3 controller adapters so I could use my Nuby Soul Calibur II universal arcade sticks on PS3 with Virtua Fighter 5. Unfortunately, the Soul Calibur sticks do not work with the Pelican adapters. The adapters work with regular PS2 DualShock 2 controllers, so I know the adapters are okay.

Have any of you experienced difficulty using the Pelican adapter or PS2 arcade sticks on PS3? I was really hoping to avoid purchasing yet another set of arcade sticks. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It's odd to hear that because as far as I've had one of them, Pelicans seem to work with just about any stick.

It's hit or miss it seems, The adapter worked with my shadowblade arcade stick but not he melican arcade stick....go figure
