Default Traveling to Seoul, where can I buy blu rays?

Hello people!

In few months I will traveling to Seoul, South Korea.

Can anyone recommend me stores to buy blu rays? Or hot toys figures as well.

Thanks in advance!

For physical media, your best bet would definitely be Techno Mart. When you get to that mall, get in the elevator, and press the button saying "DVD" next to it. On that floor, there will be two stores (essentially a bunch of shelves and bookcases) selling Blu-rays and DVDs. All product is legal, selection is great.

Here is the link with all necessary information about the mall:

I've never been there (Korea), but Kyobo Bookstores seem to be good from pictures I've seen.

That is the place I always go whenever I am in Korea. They have a lot of the limited stuff. The owner does not speak English so if you want something specific show him a picture of it. Since it's not the best organized place your best bet would just be to take your time and look over the selection yourself.

That Techno Mart is the BEST PLACE EVER in the whole world to buy blu rays! Owner's daughter speaks English just enough to make you understand, and she's so sweet! As Stobbart told you, the easiest way to make them understand what you're looking for, is showing a picture of the blu ray with your phone. It amazes me how they find right away the movie you're looking for in the BIG MESS of movies they have! Be prepared to spent lots of money there, they have tons of Kimchi exclusives, CJ´s, Novamedia, etc and much much better prices than on eBay for example. I was there in April last year and I bought like 50 movies or so!!!

Thank you Stobbart and Carlos2992 for the information!
some title suggestion that's worth it! I'm interested in the classics disney, which in my country, for the most part, are sold out! outside the ones that have never been released here, and as incredible as it seems to have dubbing and subtitles in my language, Portuguese!
but I'm interested in films that have never been released here, in special editions of collectors, I usually buy movies that I like, and kind of become a hobby and an addiction.

Do not ask for recommendations, believe me, because once you get there, you will want to buy EVERYTHING. They have tons and tons and tons of limited editions, digibooks, steelbooks, digipacks, etc.

About Disney movies, they have mostly the latest releases, like with everything else. Is not that much of a " catalog " store.

I was also there last month (Mar 26 - Apr 01) with the wife and have gotten 5 titles (Luck-Key, VIP, New Trial LE, Tinker Ticker and Unforgettable) from them in Techno Mart in Gangbyeon (green line subway), their price is really cheap and you can also ask for additional discount from the store owner (dad) if you get more items

I will be going in 4 weeks actually and am trying to make a list of some of the best stores. Is Techno Mart considered the best? Curious if anywhere happens to sell autographed stuff but this is my holding my breath...

Any updated feedback for 2018 would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
