Amazon's "Goliath" (Season 1) - Blu-ray Forum

Has anyone given this a go? Not entirely groundbreaking, but I'm four episodes deep and enjoying it a good deal. Billy Bob Thornton is amazing, of course. As is Nina Arianda. Lots of other great actors in the cast, too. Looking forward to watching the second half of season 1.

I finished it on Monday night. I thought it was a good first season. It didn't blow me away, but I'm interested in seeing a second season.

I enjoyed this! Admittedly, I'll watch Billy Bob Thornton in pretty much anything, lol.

5 episodes in and have really enjoyed it. Plenty of surprises plus it was all shot in my neighborhood.

Billy Bob is always fun to watch so I hope we get a season 2.

Well, anyone have any opinions on Season 2 ? 2 in, and it's not great. Plus for some reason the 4K HDR in S2 is funky. Black levels during night scenes very washed out grey.

I have seen Season 2, I liked it, totally different then Season 1, with very shocking sequenzes, but still I liked that season

I thought season one was a little weird and season 2 really weird. Overall it's an ok show.

Somewhat related question, these streaming service TV shows on Amazon and Netflix, aren't likely to get Blu-ray releases are they? I'm just concerned for the upcoming Amazon Lord of the Rings series. It'll be a shame if that gets relegated only to streaming purgatory

Netflix has a Deal with Paramount for some Release, but these are mostly on DVD.

The only Amazon Originals who get a Bluray Release are German Series, because for that they got Money from the Germany Goverment.

I'm actually liking season 2, but it is a LOT stranger than season 1.

Just finished...wow...I was expecting something completely different.
Episode 6 takes a hard left turn out of nowhere.

So much darker than Season 1

season 1 was amazing. William hurt vs Billy Bob Thornton is worth to see and the supporting cast is strong. Season 2 lack in supporting cast and the storyline kinda is all over the place but Billy Bob Thornton stays strong. The only thing good about season 2 in the supporting cast department is Mark Duplass. Season 2 is all about him. He owned the entire season for me. And that last scene with Bill and Mark sitting at the table in the last episode is brilliant. But season 1 was much better.

I’ve been watching this show. Currently in S3 first episode.

I really enjoyed S1 but S2 was straight crap. What horrible season.

Anyway, S3 episode 1 already weird. Should i expect it to suck like S2?
