Disney's modern version in the 80s was fine, I don't mind them trying again. They were bound to at some point anyway.

So Oliver going to be mumbling lit and tho in auto tune throughout the movie?

This reminds me of the new 'Annie' movie, which was terrible. I love almost every 'Oliver Twist' movie out there, from the early versions and 'Oliver!' to the Polanski take on it. But I'm not really excited about this project.

I love this idea, if only because it's being directed by the Tommy Kail, who brought Hamilton to life with Lin Manuel Miranda. That is enough to give me confidence in the project, and the addition of Ice Cube helps. This could be something special with the right ingredients, so I'm hopeful.
