United Kingdom Fear The Walking Dead - Season 2

Release Date: December 5th 2016
Studio: 20th Century Fox
Price: £39.99

Extras on BBFC site so far:

- FEAR THE WALKING DEAD - FLIGHT 462 - BLU-RAY ONLY (13m)
- FEAR THE WALKING DEAD - MAKING OF (38m)

Seems a bit expensive at the moment, hopefully the price will drop prior to release.

I'm going to wait for this to drop dramatically in price. I wasn't terribly impressed with this season and with the lack of extras it's definitely not worth the price. Glad it comes with Flight 462 though.

It really pisses me off they can't even put the same extras on that is on the US release. There is no problem doing it for TWD so why is it a problem here

UK is getting it early compared to Australia. Extras are minimal, so now I see how UK can do 4 discs (US Anchor Bay 5 disc).
In Aus, we have to wait until Feb. Therefore, I will be importing the US release (hoping they don't do a limited edition). Got burned on the first one.

EOne has never supported The Walking Dead franchise well. Ever since they did an international censored transfer release, they have treated The Walking Dead like a dogs breakfast.

I always go with the US Anchor Bay releases. Best advice I can give: Get a Region A / Region Free player and buy the US sets. Handled so much better. Always lossless audio, every episode uncut and plenty of extras.

It's a pity. FTWD S2 had some great character development (including poignant character personality arcs) and high quality episodes, as it improved it's cred after an average first season.

Even if we put TWD Season 1 aside, which EOne butchered with 40 seconds of cuts for the German market and then released that transfer everywhere outside North America! http://www.movie-censorship.com/list.php?o=5087

The Aussie market also got shafted with a TWD S2 across 2 discs with no extras and only lossy audio.

And with a FTWD S2 4 disc BD release on the horizon for Australia, looks like we will get the same as the UK. That is if we get one: Sanity - Second biggest store for BD/DVD, only has a DVD pre-order! That will be attrocious for TV on BD if the 3rd most watched drama on US cable (after TWD and GOT) can't get an Aus BD release.

Glad I a got a Region A player and I have the US FTWD S2 on it's way from Amazon.

I can bear fewer extras, but for the love of god, why aren't there any subtitles? Subtitles aren't a premium feature, they're a basic accessibility need. Ugh.

yep the no inclusion of subtitles really pisses me off!! sometimes you wanna watch movies with sound down and you can read the subtitles to follow the movie. No english subtitles is unacceptable

I saw it in HMV a couple of weeks back, and it did list them on the back cover. I was wondering if they had maybe been left off the disc or something.

Uhm... I don't know if it's a mistake, but Amazon UK currently have the season 1+2 bundle for £4!! They also have season 1-7 of TWD for £5.

I've ordered both, will be interesting to see if they cancel it (pricing mistake) or if they'll honor it!

Cross-posted in the season 1 and TWD season 7 threads.

EDIT: It appears this was shut down quickly :/
