[PS4/PS Vita]Skullgirls 2nd Encore Gets A Physical Release Through Limited Run Games

Skullgirls fans will have a special treat to look forward to this Halloween. The game’s official Twitter recently announced that Skullgirls 2nd Encore will be getting a physical release for both PS4 and Vita through Limited Run Games.

The physical edition will contain a full-color manual, a soundtrack featuring select tracks, as well as a slipcover. Preorders for physical copies will begin on Halloween, October 31st, and will remain open for 2 weeks. Additionally, if 10,000 copies of the game are preordered, then Lab Zero will add Japanese voice tracks.

Skullgirls 2nd Encore is available for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.

Would've liked to get this but the shipping is too damn high for Canada ($14 USD). Ends up costing more than a big publisher game over here.

With limited releases like this, it's either pay high shipping or pay the ridiculous amount people sell these on eBay.

This is a big improvement in M.O. from Limited Run. A 2-week window allowing (and in fact hoping for more than 10,000 pre-orders is vastly better than that 5-minutes-before-it's-gone-forever nonsense they did with many past games.

Fangamer did it so much better with the physical print of Shovel Knight Vita. Better priced ($25 USD) and with two shipping options ($3 for regular with no tracking and $15 with tracking). The only thing that it is missing in comparison with Skullgirls on Vita, is the slip and soundtrack. Yet I'm absolutely ok without those because I end up paying half of what LRG is charging.
