Sony Pictures Spider-Man : Homecoming 3D Blu-ray (2017) [Region Free]

Spider-Man: Homecoming 3D Blu-ray

Spider-Man: Far from Home / Spider-Man: Homecoming 4K + 3D Blu-ray

No, the trailer hasn't been released but we should be getting it soon!

Thought it would be cool to start talking some 3D. In this
Jon Watts talks a bit about 3D.

There's definitely some sequences that will really lend themselves to be particularly cool in 3D
Hopefully, it's as strong as or stronger than TASM 2. You shouldn't really fail at 3D Spider-Man action sequences.

Cool, thanks Breakspear. I like Hudson as the new Peter Parker and he's a good replacement for the original Spider-Man, Tobey Maguire.

I loved the Raimi trilogy with Maguire as Spider-Man. They should have let Raimi make one more movie and then leave it at that. Can't stand both Amazing Spider-Man movies and I know I won't like the new one... Maguire will always be OG Spidey to me.

There can be multiple great performances of a character (look at Bond). All three have done a great job imo. Yeah, the Amazing films weren't perfect but at least go in this one with an open mind, it's a whole new, different film.

My main problem with these new Spidey movies is the casting. I'm sorry but I just can't stand Andrew Garfield's performance and from what I have seen in Civil War, the same goes for Tom Holland.

I will go and see it however cause I'm curious how this new approach will turn out.

Andrew Garfield is my favorite of the three by a mile. TASM 1 was everything I want in a Spider-Man movie (besides stronger interaxials), and TASM 2 seemed like it was good until the studio had to shoehorn in additional characters to launch a ten-movie universe. Rewatching the Raimi trilogy, I find Tobey Maguire a little irritating, and Sam Raimi's comic relief just doesn't jive anymore. As far as the new one goes, Tom Holland is really young...

The Spectacular Spider-Man beats them all though and has an excellent Blu-ray. Spidey fans need this series in their lives.

I like the analogy to Bond, James Bond actors. Going in with that perspective definitely makes watching the films more acceptable.

I did that for Tom Holland's character as Spidy, and he's got the enthusiasm and energy, along with the Tobey sense of humor I was hoping for. He definitely seems like a good start for Spider-Man, saying that as a big fan of Tobey's performance as Spider-Man (aside from some goofy scenes here and there ).

Thanks for the info on the series. May have to check that out as a fan of animation. Okay, actually watched this years ago on TV. Good series.

100% agree. Best adaptation of Spider-Man for any screen. Such a shame it was canceled after 2 seasons and replaced with Ultimate Spider-Man.

Hopefully the new series next year is as good as Spectacular.

The Amazing Spiderman 2 is one of my favourite superhero movies (yeah I know lol) so this is going to have to be pretty special to beat that for me. I'm still pissed they didn't finish off the previous trilogy.

I really like what Raimi has done with his Spider-Man trilogy and I've always loved Maguire as Spidey. I think he was perfect as PP though I can understand why some might find him annoying at times, especially in the third one which is also the one Spider-Man movie where Raimi's magic does not always work well.

His first Spider-Man movie however is one of the best Marvel/comic based movies of all time IMO, everything in there seems to work: the story, the characters, the acting, camerawork, I just love that movie!

Upon watching the trailer for the first Amazing Spider-Man for the first time, I already took a strong dislike to Andrew Garfield. The same goes for Tom Holland even with his limited screen time in Civil War. I thought he was very, very annoying... Still I will definitely check out Homecoming though.

We've had like 15 minutes of screen time for Tom Holland...those that aren't sure how to feel about him will probably like him more after seeing this. I can already say he's my favorite Spidey because his portrayal is more accurate to the comics I read and cartoon I watched. That said, I'm ready for this movie, I think it's going to turn out...spectacular.

Yeah, Raimi's Spider-Man 1 and 2 are classics IMO. 3 was a decent conclusion. 1 with Willem DaFoe and 2 with Alfred Molina as the main villains.

His comical commentary during the battle is something Tobey's Spider-Man was also good at and it gives the character a lot of personality.

Spidey swinging scenes, Vulture and Iron Man flying, should be some great 3D sequences.

It's sad that they had to add Iron Man to the mix. I'll try to reserve judgement, but I think it will weaken Spiderman's character tremendously. But that's what happens when you let the accountants write the movie.

Ordinarily I'd agree, but this is the sixth Spider-Man film in my recent memory and Spider-Man's 'Homecoming' into the MCU following on from his introduction in Civil War so it's natural to have some other established Marvel characters in there. We're done with his origin (though I'm sure there'll be a flashback) after all.

As you imply, the formula is set for these films now so they all feel familiar, keep the accountants happy with more of the same. Like you, I would prefer some risks taken and purer stories but just from that trailer I know exactly what I'm getting with this one and it'll be fine by me if the 3D is good.

Tom Holland is an extremely talented young man-- one of the British lads who benefited enormously from his stint training for and starring in "Billy Elliot the Musical" in the West End. His turn in "The Impossible" was very strong.
I expect his "Spider Man" will be up to the task.

I take the new guy also. Hated Toby and big head Kirsten. New guy is funny and acts more like a teenager.

Tom Holland's Spiderman will be everything Spiderman is supposed to be, I think. Finally getting it right. He's supposed to be a high-school kid. Not some 20 or even 30-something trying to pull off being a high school kid.

I wasn't a fan of Tobey and while I did like Andrew's take, I felt he was still too old for the role.
