Default Ok I was a fence sitter.........

Now I'm in with you guys for the long battle. May the better of the two formats win......blu of course.

First three movies

CARS
PAN"S Labyrinth (A must have disc for those who did not see it)
UNDERDOG (ahem....for my 5 year old son)

Looks sweet but my top of the line 60" Hitatchi from '05 only has 1080i

Still looks sweet

HA! Yes! Welcome to the trenches. I can personally vouch for 'Cars' as one of the top 3 Blu-ray titles on the market currently. Make sure to enjoy your newfound wisdom... more importantly, make sure you SHARE your new wisdom with all of your friends whom you have left sitting on the fence. Educate the people and freedom will ultimately prevail!

I guess I was destined to buy blu. I was sitting on an airplane from Boston to Ft lauderdale and was fighting with an HD-DVD owner for an hour about which format was better (ahem...blu). His misinformation pissed me off so much that it made me go buy a blu ray........I really showed him huh?

I would say that was destiny

Welcome aboard, sir!

Been getting a lot of people lately on the forum who have recently chosen Blu. I think this tells a lot about how well Blu has done in the 4Q.

I must say how spoiled I've gotton. I remember when I thought laserdisc was the bomb. I really can't believe I'm seeing the movies I love like this.
I saw The Warriors on BD and I must say I have never seen a movie that old look that good. I saw it in the theaters (yes I'm that old) and it never, ever,
ever looked like that. It was almost like watching a whole different movie. A whole different experience.

As you can tell I'm a bit excited.

It's not the number of posts, it's the number of days -- he joined in September so, yes, he can start threads (I *still* can't :<)
