Default Pan's Labyrinth out of stock on Amazon

I got a notice from Amazon that Pan's Labyrinth has been delayed. I know this isn't true because I saw it at Best Buy. I don't know if Amazon didn't get any in stock or if they sold out. I don't want to have to go to Best Buy to get it. They are at least $5 more than Amazon. The HD DVD is in stock at Amazon though.

I was interested, but since it's in Spanish I guess I'll pass. Maybe in a year or so I'll reconsider and deal with the subtitles.

Hmmm, strange, I ordered a copy of Pan's Labyrinth yesterday from Amazon, and I got a notice this morning that it shipped out.

Amazon's shipping is starting to tick me off. I pre-ordered this a couple weeks ago and got a notice this morning that it wouldn't be shipping for a while, maybe by the 2nd of January.

Did you do regular shipping or Super Saver? I notice when you do Super Saver it takes FOREVER to ship.

I ordered this Monday and it shipped yesterday, will receive it today. They seem to have added a hub here in Phoenix, since my last few shipments have come from here instead of California.

I am in the same boat as you. Having prime and waiting on it to ship. Mine went into shipping soon sometime on Christmas and has been there ever since. With a ship date of 12/28-29 on it. But lists as in stock. Not sure what is going on here.

My copy of Pan's arrived today from WHV (which I cancelled a long time ago and ordered from Amazon). I cancelled the Amazon order (which hasn't even shipped yet) and will deal with WHV on having them charge my account (they didn't do that yet). I still have the Potter box set and Best of Blu Ray Family pack to send back to them if they ever tell me what to do (I keep getting conflicting instructions from their CSR agents).

Briefly skipping through the disc today and came to the conclusion that I'm glad I bought it. New Line did a great job on this one. I'll probably watch the whole thing tonight.

That's really weird... have they been relatively on time with other shipments for BD?

I've been lucky, every time I have bought something there and paid for basic shipping, it goes right out, and on time, no delays at all.

I always use their super saver shipping as I hate paying more than I have to and what I buy has always arrived either when they said or sooner. If there is a must movie I have to have right away, and for the life of me I can't imagine why I can't wait a few days to see any movie, I can always go to a B&M store and get it.

Well, If I have saved about $5 on every movie I bought, and I have about 75 BDs now, I have saved about $375. So yeah, when you think about it, waiting for it is worth the $5.
