I got myself the high-capacity battery and I found out I needed a size zero screwdriver which I didn't have.. ordered one on Amazon and gave it a shot... those screws won't budge.
The screwdriver I got came with size 0, 00, and 000 and none of them seem to work. I'm terrified of stripping the screws on this thing because they're so tiny. Is it possible I actually got the wrong size screwdriver? |

I had a similar issue with a Nintendo DS. The battery cover screws were insanely difficult to remove and ended up getting stripped extremely easily. I ended up just snapping the back off and actually minorly breaking it. However, I use a DS case so it doesn't even matter that the battery cover is busted.

Try the wrench handle method. Hold the screwdriver handle with a wrench to give you more leverage. It helps when turning tight screws.
Hold the wrench in your dominate hand, and the top of the screwdriver handle (for stability/support) with the other hand when turning. |

Actually found an old size 00 screwdriver in my house that worked. So annoying that the instructions said one thing when I actually needed another -__- it would've been nice if they included a screwdriver since I feel like that's a pretty uncommon size to have around the house... I dunno lol.
Love having the high-capacity battery though ![]() |
