Simpsons hour long episode - Blu-ray Forum

Are the songs and music in the episode original works specifically for this show? I tried to shazam the song playing when Burns is being shown the party (guys are floating/skydiving over a gigantic sub-woofer) but it wasn't recognized

No idea, but I found this episode to be unbearable. A few episodes here and there from the more recent seasons get some laughs out of me, but the quality has certainly decreased; it's as if they're trying way too hard with their comedy, especially with things going on in the background. I actively recorded episodes from the late 90's and early 2000's on my PVR, and laughed my butt off lol.
