Default High Def Resolution on Laptops

In the next year or two, should we be seeing more and more notebooks coming out with actual 1080p or at least 1080i capabilities?

But how high of resolution, exactly? Can they reach 1080i or even 1080p?

Yes... there are laptops with resolutions of 1920X1200... Which would allow them to do 1080p with no problem.
