Wonder Park (Paramount Pictures Animation, 2019)

The first animation movie from Paramount Pictures Animation, beside that 'Spongebob' movie, is called 'Amusement Park'. Directed by Dylan Brown, an ex-Pixar (supervising) animator who worked Toy Story, A Bug's Life, Monsters Inc, The Incredibles, Finding Nemo and Ratatouille. It's a project supervised by Lino DiSalvo, the new creative director at Paramount Animation, who worked as head of animation at Walt Disney Animation Studios and supervised Frozen, Tangled and Bolt. Seems like all these guys get big chances at new and/or smaller studios now.

There's nothing official about the story yet, but a leaked synopsis learns us that it's about a young curious girl who discovers an old and forgotten amusement park. She becomes friends with the neglected animals who live there. Togheter they make plans to re-open the park ...

Voice-cast : Matthew Broderick, Jennifer Garner, Jeffrey Tambor, Kenan Thompson, Ken Jeong, Mila Kunis, John Oliver and Brianna Denski.

Amusement Park was planned for 2019, but Paramount announced it's coming out a year earlier. July 13, 2018. With a release this close, it shouldn't take long before we see some material.
