Why is there not a thread for this show already...? I searched for titles, with and without quotes, all that jazz... got bupkis.

Anyway, Season 6 is underway. What do people think?

I love this show.

By the time i found it, season five had just ended. Comcast had given me three free months of HBO due to a billing error, so on a whim i decided to check it out. Took maybe two weeks to get through five seasons.

JLD does a great job.

Same, I didn't watch it til after Season 5 when I got HBO GO. Binge-watched it in like a week lol, then watched it again. Hysterically funny.

Just finished the new episode... wow, I didn't think they could make Selina a bigger B-word but they figured it out lol. Good episode, just wish there was more Kent.

Such a great show. I wish they didn't drop Sue as a regular. Love her character.

Yeah it would be great if she came back, her exchanges with Kent are some of the best little moments on the show.

I think Veep is the best comedy on TV. I wasn't sure how they'd handle it without Selina in office and the staff largely going separate ways but the premiere was amazing. Normally I get annoyed when the same actor or actress wins Emmys year after year but Julia Louis-Dreyfus absolutely crushes it every year and deserves the award. This show is up there with Parks & Rec for the best collection of supporting characters on TV.

On a side note my DVR is set to start recording a minute early and apparently Girls ran a little long so when I started my recording the first thing on my screen was Lena Dunham naked, which was not what I expected or particularly wanted to see.

Good episode with some great one-liners. I somehow missed during the first episode when they said Amy and Buddy are engaged, but his arrest in this episode was hilarious.

Just watched all 5 seasons in about a week's time. My god this show is hilarious. Looking forward to finally be up to date

Was rewatching Inherent Vice the other night (great movie btw), but I'd forgotten that Jonah shows up in it and when he does, I couldn't stop laughing

Something is just a bit 'off' this season for me. The writing and direction is like it is trying to mimic earlier seasons and failing at it quite a bit.

Ep 2 and 3 were ok but 1 was awful.

Off other than the whole purpose of the show was she was the VP and wanted to be President, now she's neither? It sort of comes off aimless now.

Kinda get that vibe at times, too. But it's still funny. Haven't seen last night's episode yet.
