Default monoprice hdmi

i just received my 2 6ft hdmi 1.3a type 2 cords today. And to be honest i noticed quite a difference with the AQ and PQ. I'm very happy with my cords compared to my older sony and philips hdmi cables. I don't know if the higher bandwidth capabilities is the reason why....but i love the new cables. Nice durable quality feeling cables for such an awesome price of $35 for 2 cables. Can beat it.....Shove it Monster Cables.

I agree 100% with your post. I switched out all of my cables with Monoprice. I had expensive Monster cables and I kept having compatibility problems. Since the switch to Monoprice I have not had any issues. And their prices are so good.

I was just commenting on the ridiculousness of Monster in a thread here last night...and Monoprice is always my recommended cable supplier for people who need short runs. Solid, quality cables with great shipping/customer service and incredible prices. I mean, $11.49 for a 6' HDMI run.

In the words of GOB, "COME ON!"

I really like my monoprice cables. And the fact I can go and pick them up is just a plus to me. Never had a problem with them at all.

It is a warehouse and I am only about a 30 min drive from it. And I am in the area of it all the time. But it is nice just going online making a order calling them and saying I will be down in a hour to pick it up. And they have it ready for you.

I'm so glad I ran into this thread because I was going to ask what other HDMI cables are good other than the high dollar monsters. I don't know what a switcher does though? I just bought a onkyo 650 and thinking of a panasonic 30d player, would I need that for my combination? Thanks again for the great information !

Your TV will have1 HDMI cable from it to the switcher then the switcher has anywhere from 2 to 5 HDMI ports to hook all your wonderful HDMI equipment to it

Thanks, and I love how monoprice has cables in 1.5ft and 3ft. Will help clean up the jungle behind my equipment.

Next time you go, tell 'em James in Toronto says hi.

'Cause, you know...my 4 orders from them make me memorable.

There are so many different types of HDMI cables on that site. Which ones did you buy? Link?

I ordered the 5x1 switcher and three HDMI cables from Monoprice last week. Looking forward to getting them and trying it all out. I've ordered optical audio cables from them in the past, and was very pleased with the quality of the cables. I'd had a tough time up to that point of finding good, durable optical audio cables.

Question:

In my set-up, I need to purchase a couple of 20-ft HDMI cables to connect the AV Receiver to the TV and DVD player. Would a cable of that length have any signal quality issues?
