Ive come across an issue regarding bundles.
For some bundles the titles they are claming to include, they simple isnt for lack of better way to put it. This one for instance https://www.blu-ray.com/dvd/The-Grem...ion-DVD/41425/ It says it should include Gremlings The New Batch but it just doesnt. There are also quite a few bundles that just doesnt bundle together any titles at all. Some have duplicate titles in them. This one include two Superman 2 for instance. https://www.blu-ray.com/dvd/Superman...ion-DVD/25346/ Is this something that can be edited, that is adding titles to bundles afterwards? Best regards Armand |

If you then look at this image then you can see that the Gremlins that the bundle claims it bundles in there isnt featured in my collection. Screenshot 2017-05-01 20.16.19.jpg But then if one looks at the picture below one can see that the movies that the superman collection claims to bundle together actually show up in my collection. There shouldn't be a Master Movie ID for bundles anyway, just TV bundles. Bundles need to created from a blank page in most cases, not from individual movie entries from the theatrical database.

So which way is the correct way to add titles to bundles so that they show up individually in the collection as with the Superman Collection shown above?
For me I think it makes most sense, if one would add a collection, then the individual movies bundled in that collection should be added to the complete collection itself. Is that how it should work or am I mistaken, if so what is the most logical way? |

For example if we were creating a Harry Potter box set which contained all 8 movies but no bonus discs, you wouldn't add the eight 2 disc special edition releases to the bundle, you'd add the single-disc releases (if there were any) or create new DVD entries for that bundle. With the Superman collection you'd have to double-check what's been made available outside the bundle before adding it. Box sets like the Superman set can be complicated, sometimes it's best just to have an accurate synopsis rather than adding separate releases as they don't always line up. Creating bundles when the separate movies are legitimately separate are generally far easier to do. As mentioned the reason as to why there's multiple versions of Superman II is because the content in the box set is split across two separate DVD releases. The set comprises of one 4-disc release (Superman: The Movie), two 2-disc releases (one for Superman II and Superman Returns (three if you count the Singer disc)) and single disc for the other movies (plus three bonus discs). |
