I'm actually thinking of seeing this in the theater. I've been watching the trailers ever since the Comic Con one came out and this movie looks like a blast.

I have to say it: what's the point of making a thread with no info whatsoever about the release? Couldn't you then just make a thread for every blockbuster in the future?

Just a pointless placeholder thread. Was it really hard to wait for some ACTUAL info before start a thread?

Seriously though, a bit early to start this topic.

On topic, I guess, I am going to wait for this to come out on UHD before seeing it. It will probably get a better version that way like BVS did, so no point in rushing to see it and having to go through all the issues with finding a sitter and such.

Why? Nothing has been stated about having to trim the movie for theatrical release.

EVERYTIME Pieter V had made a thread for anything even without any info it had always come out in 4k

im happy just to see that those titles will be out on 4k even without any more info for the time beeing.

Most movies have been getting unrated/director cuts for the past few years on the home market version. I am just generalizing in my last comment due to that.

I have no problem with him starting these threads as long as he’s sure there will be a 4K version released. There already are posts with preorder info. You can bet the first time he starts one that’s a Disney title there will be a zillion views.

I'm surprised none of the retailers have prematurely put up a 4K pre-order for a Disney movie yet.

At least with a thread up so early people can post their impressions of the Dolby Vision version. I'm hoping it's more like BvS and less like Suicide Squad on UHD. The visuals in the trailers look pretty beautiful to me, and from the early buzz it sounds like the DCEU finally has a movie that pleases fans, critics and general audience. Fingers crossed.

Saw the film at the fan screenings on Wednesday and the praise is warranted. It's damn good.
