At this point in his career, detective Roger Murtaugh is looking to decrease his stress levels, not amp them up. When he's assigned a new partner in Martin Riggs though, he finds himself experiencing a whole new kind of work anxiety. Riggs, slightly unhinged and seemingly afraid of nothing, has no qualms about putting the duo in dangerous situations, while Murtaugh just wants to make it home to his family in one piece. The duo create one of the oddest partnerships on the police force, but they also might find the perfect friend.
