So, I noticed that my ps3 is beginning to leave lines of dust across the bottom of both games and movies. The line is very thin but prominent across the entire disc and I have noticed that playback of games and movies has begun to stall every so often.
I was going to use a standard DVD lens cleaner disc, but after searching the net it seems some people have been told by Sony not to use lens cleaners. I can clean off the dust line with a soft cloth, but am worried this may affect the longjevity of the disc, and worse yet the overall health of my ps3. ![]() I have the extended warranty, so in worse case scenario can return it for the 80 GB, but would rather keep the 60. Any suggestions on specific lens cleaners or cleaning methods? What about keeping the ps3 dust free in general? this thing collects A LOT of dust. |
