The mask case is exclusive to who, Amazon?

Anyway, 4K Steelbook by default for me.

Double-posting my review from the Movies sub-forum...

Spider-Man: Homecoming is the best Spider-Man film adaptation to date, mainly because Tom Holland hits all of the right notes with his portrayal of Peter Parker, and because he brings the original comic book character to life in a way that no previous actor has done. This movie also benefits from a low-key approach that brings the Marvel Universe back down to Earth for a more scaled-down and personable coming-of-age tale.

Since this is the sixth Spider-Man movie of the past 15 years, Marvel wisely avoids inflicting yet another depiction of the origin story on us, and, instead, Spider-Man: Homecoming takes place after Peter Parker has acquired his web-spinning powers and after the events of Captain America: Civil War, where he helped the Avengers during a major battle. This story begins as the 15 year-old Peter Parker is back in his everyday life, balancing the rigors of high school and normal teenage awkwardness with a rushed eagerness to save the world from evil by fighting alongside the Avengers. Most of the film takes place in the halls of Parker's school, as he and his best friend, played by Jacob Batalon, fly under the radar of the more popular students and fixate on the beautiful and seemingly unattainable Liz, played by Laura Harrier, while keeping Parker's Spider-Man identity a secret from the world. The result is more of an emotional origin story, as Parker earns his stripes by performing heroic deeds on a local scale and ultimately battling an illegal arms ring orchestrated by Adrian Toomes, a former salvage operations expert who feels driven by necessity to steal alien weapons technology from Avengers battle sites. Michael Keaton, who has brilliantly thrived late in his acting life by taking on more menacing roles, plays Toomes with a genuinely convincing edge, and, as such, becomes the most multi-layered villain of any of the Marvel films so far.

The action scenes in Spider-Man: Homecoming are less spectacular and otherworldly than those in the Avengers films, and this movie is more concerned with having a bigger heart than with giving us flashy eye candy. The special effects are superb, though, and they lend an added immediacy to the fight sequences. Michael Keaton's Vulture outfit is downright amazing. Robert Downey Jr. reprises his role as Tony Stark/Iron Man, but he appears on the sidelines here for the most part as a distant mentor and guide to Peter Parker. A few brief cameos by Chris Evans, as Captain America, provide some of this film's funniest moments.

Spider-Man: Homecoming is my second favorite Marvel Universe film, behind Captain America: Winter Solder (2014), and it has my highest recommendation as a summer movie with plenty of emotion and humor to go along with the explosions. Be sure to stick around for the post-credits scenes.

Is that the confirmed art? If so, that's my selection for which to buy.

Agreed, I hope it stays. Reminds me of the Logan art but better (and I liked that one).

4K BBY Steelbook pre-ordered! Greatest Spider-Man flick thus far, and one of the MCU's best entries.

Absolutely getting this one when it hits BD. Haven't been this excited about a Spider-Man movie in a long time. Holland and Keaton were fantastic.

My vote still goes to the 4K steel, the mask case looks nice though.

I don't buy 4K movies but this will push me too. Before, the 3D (don't watch 3D movies) Marvel releases got the better cases/art but now it will be the 4K versions.

Wait. If this is a Sony release, why isn't it a 4K+3D combo like the rest of their recent films?

I thought that this film was a Disney Marvel Studios release, not Sony?

The rights to Spider-Man still belong to Sony, thus the film is distributed by Sony, but Marvel has a partnership with them for this film and upcoming Spidey films, as well as any MCU films involving Spider-Man.

Think of it as a good thing, since Sony titles are more prone to drop in price rapidly than say, a Disney/Marvel BD title.
