So, I guess it's kinda cool and exciting that Japan is releasing some exclusive blu-ray titles, especially considering it's relatively easy to order from Amazon Japan ...

But what's up with their titles? Check out their "Unleashed pre-order":

Predator is coming out next week in europe , indepence day is already out i think in europe as well.

I am not sure if EUROPACORP puts ENGLISH menus on their Blu-rays but I can 100% confirm that FOX doesn't put ENGLISH MENUs. So please purchase with care.

Have requested amazon.co.jp to publish the correct specs for Unleashed.

AFAIK Predator and Commando will be on BD-25 with MPEG-2 encode.

I KINDLY request all tempted buyers to wait for the U.S release and grab these titles on BOGO as it's not worth spending $30 on MPEG-2 encoded catalog titles on BD-25 with silly extras.

Europacorp is beginning to unleash it's titles like Taxi, Transporter etc in Japan on Blu-ray but like the remaining studios they forget to post the specs which is highly irritating. I heard that Transporter 1 & 2 will get a fresh MPEG-4 AVC encode.
