Juno Temple is set to co-star with “The Crown’s” Claire Foy in Steven Soderbergh’s next movie, sources tell Variety.

The official title of the pic, which Soderbergh will direct, is currently unknown, but sources says it has a working title of “Unsane.”

Plot details are being kept under wraps, but insiders say Soderbergh shot the entire film on an iPhone, similar to the indie hit “Tangerine.” The movie is also without a distributor, though the auteur may decide to self-distribute through his production banner Fingerprint Releasing. SOURCE

I'm glad Soderbergh's unretirement means that he can also go back to making weirdo shit in the vein of Bubble and Full Frontal in addition to the movies that anybody sees or likes.

I wasn't sure if Soderbergh coming back to do Logan Lucky was a one-time thing so I'm very glad to see he seems to be back into movies for the time being

Some dude on CriterionForum and another on the comments section of Variety say that it has already been shot.

I pointed out the inconsistency of the writing on Variety, but I doubt they read the comments.

Nice to hear some plot details, and I'm glad it'll be out somewhat soon.

With Logan Lucky a few months ago, "Mosaic" in January, and now Unsane in March, it's a great time to be a Soderbergh fan.

I think Soderbergh is one of the best filmmakers at showing thought and memory (particularly in The Limey and The Informant!), so I'm really excited for/slightly terrified by the prospect of him doing an "is it all in my mind?" horror movie.

As movie fans we have access to so much information on a film's production so far in advance, with so much footage, casting details, plot points and additional "spoilers" leaked, that the eventual release can feel downright anticlimactic. It's practically bracing when something like this is revealed to have been surreptitiously shot and is nearly ready for release, all with no well-in-advance fanfare.
