This season kind of jumped the shark a bit, but I still enjoyed it more than others here. I think at this point, you're either down for whatever, or you quit a season or two ago.

I just hope the Italian release is a standard Viva case with region free discs again. I absolutely despise the digipak garbage they use for this series in the US.

It's not up to Netflix. It's up to the studio producing the show. In this case, that would be Sony.

I often thought that HOC would be the first TV show to get a 4K release (or Orange Is The New Black), but it seems that Westworld will be the first.

Good to see that Australia (like the US) will continue to get the digipak style release of S1-4.

And say what you will about this season of House of Cards, at least we can count on this TV show getting a proper Blu-ray release each year. Not something you can always take for granted these days with other TV shows.

I'll never understand why they take so long to release the damn disc. They profit either way. Why does the streaming service need a 6-8 month monopoly on the damn thing? The people who stream will stream. The people who buy disc buy discs. The only thing delays do is piss off disc buyers like me, so I torrent to watch right away, and wait for a deal on the BD instead of pre-ordering the BD and paying full price as I would if it were an option on day one.

They better not ruin the rest of the series now. They could just replace the ****ing actor and keep it business as usual. Hell, Spartacus did that and it's still one of my favorite series.

I’m about half way through this season, and it’s such a great show. Such a terrible shame all the cast and crew are subject to one person’s poor lack of judgement.
With that said, the unknown foreshadowing in this show, based on the hindsight of Spacey’s inexcusable behavior, is kind of eerie.
I wonder if the production team would be willing to include Spacey in the final season if he agrees to work for free, or better have his entire salary/producer revenue donated to a victims of assault charity? I get that he is toxic right now, but it still seems like cutting off ones nose to spite the face. As I mentioned, a lot of: cast, crew, fans and revenues rise or fall with the success of this show.

The show was already planned to end especially since most people hated the last few seasons which were pretty awful. It definitely isn’t that popular anymore. The 8 episode ending with Robin Wright leading is already set. No way in hell they would reverse that decision and let Spacey work on the show. He was fired, and it’s not a huge loss anyway considering how bad his acting was in S5. He was clearly phoning it in.
