Default BWU-100A movie problem

After it taking me about 4 hours of messing with, I finally got video to display with powerdvd. Now I have another problem. The darn thing won't output any sound. I tried my onboard soundcard and a hercules fortismo 3 7.1 card I had laying around. Neither worked. My computer's sound works just fine, but powerdvd isn't outputting the movie's sound.

My HTPC is an athlon64 x2 4200, 1GB ram, GF7900GS HDCP and the obvious blu-ray drive.

Can anyone offer some insight?

See if on the web page of your sound device there are HD audio drivers or something...

Default Sound on PowerDVD 6.6 for Blu-Ray works in stereo

I have the same drive and Cyberlink software. I can play the movies that I have written to Blu-Ray, but since they are from my Sony HDV camera (HDR-HC1) they are in stereo only. I have not yet purchased a Blu-Ray title. The sound card for these last 8 months is a Soundblaster XFi Platinum connected to a 5.1 speaker setup and with no recent driver updates.

Default Did you get your Sony software upgrade?

In case you missed it, there is a software upgrade for the BWU-100A and PowerDVD-BD, ostensibly just for HDCP support, but you never know what else they might have fixed!
