Default Ya'll should thank me for the WB switch!

On Wednesday I bought the following WB titles on Blu-Ray from Amazon:

Ocean's Trilogy
Harry Potter 3-5
Troy

I think my purchases put Blu-Ray over the top!

It was around $700. Lot of BOGO and some credits with amazon I had.

Everyone wonders why I say "Just give me money" for Xmas/birthday. You'd figure after 30 years, they'd catch on

Amazon loves me this month. Between that, the player, and the HTiB I bought this week, im probably the top buyer this week

Been saving up, waiting to see who'd come out on top for quite some time. Wednesday I chose Blu-Ray. Now I just have to wait for it all to arrive (And start saving up to get a better TV heh)

Didnt like the box set case (saw a lot of complaints about discs not being all that secure in it), and they were BOGO.

I thank all of you. I wish I could have helped, but I can't get anything yet, so on my end, I worked to inform people about Blu-ray, and I think I may have made a small difference.

Gotta make you wonder... for people who bought the Harry Potter box set that had the HD-DVD in it... and suddenly Warner starts getting all these nasty-grams from disgruntled Blu owners who have this diseased HD-DVD they desperately want to get rid of.

I can just imagine that board of directors meeting:

Bob: Well Dave, we're getting a ton of upset Blu-ray owners who are complaining they accidentally got a mis-packaged Harry Potter HD-DVD.

Dave: How many people are complaining about the Blu-rays we purposely planted in the HD-DVD box sets?

Bob: Well... none.

Dave: Hmmm... Doesn't say much for HD-DVD sales. I think we'll go Blu-ray exclusive then!

I have HP 1-4 on regular DVD already because my 5 year old son likes to watch them, and I didn't feel like double-dipping with my least favorite HP movies (1&2), so I bought the last three. The last three also have the best PQ from what I've read...

I just picked up Harry 2-4 to complete my collection and Galapagos on the Amazon B1G1 offer and got them today. Then today, I also ordered Blazing Saddles & Wyatt Earp. Thanks Warner And Amazon! You're the greatest!
