Default Do you think Warner will reissue some Blu-rays?

I can't tell you how ecstatic I've been for the past hour since hearing the great news about Warner. That being said, I've started to think a bit. Right now because of the Amazon BOGO, I have waiting for me at home: Bullitt, The Shining, Usual Suspects, and Blazing Saddles. With the exception of Usual Suspects (feel free to "politely" correct me), the rest are dual format releases..

Now, if you subscribe to the line of thinking that Warner had to "dumb" down its catalog transfers to accommodate Blu-Ray (50 gb) and HD DVD (30 gb) discs, do you think that Warner will reissue some of these movies?

It's not like it hasn't been done before...think about all of the Superbit and Special Edition/Deluxe edition of DVDs that have been releases. How many freakin T2 editions needed to be released on DVD?

So on the brightside Warner will now be releasing their movies in Blu (May 2008, that is). Yet, on the downside, have we wasted a bit of money if Warner decides to reissue some titles? My thinking is that they will reissue their titles with better specs, such as PCM for all (which would be INCREDIBLE!) Any thoughts on this?

Over time undoubtedly. They have already done it with Full Metal Jacket - although still constrained by HD-DVD's inferior Specifications.
