I wonder who will have the better presentation: Sony or WB? Or will they actually collaborate, with Sony authoring discs for WB to sell in the US? Obviously, everything will be from the same DI master, but questions abound, like: Will WB release a Blu-ray 3D disc in the States? Will Sony use 16-bit DTS-HD MA 5.1 lossless audio on their 1080p discs?
Plus, Sony should have English commentary subtitles for any audio commentaries, while WB only ever do Japanese commentary subtitles on WHV releases. I think I'll end up buying multiple editions just to compare the work of the home video teams. And that's before we get into potential extras like Blu-ray bonus discs. |

I wish mondo were not being supported, not just as their art is bad

Just saw the movie tonight. No spoilers...
So, yeah, movie was good. It was long and felt long, but in a good way. And I was very happy that it wasn't some action version. It's got the same serious tone as the first one and is pretty character driven. And looks amazing. Almost overwhelming. Gosling was actually pretty good given he was playing the character he played sort of thing. And the sound design is quite something. So yeah, it was probably as good as it could have been. |

For £45 pounds, it should come with wiskey!
Good to hear this isn't just a cheap knock-off, though. |

This is a seriously overrated film IMHO. Think I'll wait until it's in a 3 for £20 offer.
