USA D.B. Cooper

I've always been facinated by the story surrounding one the greatest hijacks ever to take place on American soil. Whether this recent article I found online remains true to the accused or the accusers, I've imagine a film like no other.

I'm an admirer of director David Fincher, especially from one of his most recent works, Zodiac. And since then, I've always imagined him taking this story and creating a thriller of a joyride, on the big screen.

I wonder if he survived the drop or made it far from his landing spot.

I've always found D.B. Cooper to be interesting as well. Actually the name that that guy gave at the ticket gate back on November 24th in 1971 was Dan Cooper and not D.B. They keep finding stuff in the woods in Washington state or Oregon. I wish that they'd find the skeletal remains of Mr. Cooper to be honest with you.

D.B. Cooper totally got away. "Presumed dead" seems to basically be the FBI's way of giving up when it comes to cases where people successfully and publicly defy the law in theatrical ways. The Alcatraz escapees are probably the same story.
