Tetris would most likely be out as well because Nintendo no longer has the rights. It's not even available for purchase on the eShop anymore.

I liked the first three Game and Watch, but #2 was my favorite.

G&W 1-3
Link's Awakening
Pokemon Blue (I like the original better than yellow)
Pokemon Silver (you could play on the bw gameboy)
Super Mario Land
Kirby's Dream Land
Tamagotchi (this was a fun little time wasting game)

All the other games I had were GBC/GBA.

I wasn’t aware there was a version of the game for Gameboy. It would be easier to play than those stupid tiny eggs with those micro buttons.

Yup, it was an old GB game, too. It let you have three eggs at once if I remember correctly, and saved as you went. The only part I had trouble with was the little "mini game" section where you could increase your pet's knowledge or sports level, since half the time my guys wouldn't cooperate.

Do you think it would support GameBoy Color or would that be a subsequent Nintendo Classic Mini? I would add GBC:

The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages
The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons
Shantae

The required hardware is basically the same from what I understand, that's why emulation programs like Nintendo's virtual console on the 3DS didn't need any different software. The actual systems just had different screens and a heck of a lot more memory (and the color graphics processor of course).

But if I was in charge, since a lot of those old GB games supported the Super Game Boy and had a hidden color pallet, I'd give a Game Boy Classic the option of a color screen with that functionality to bring back those lost SNES color schemes. (Kind of like how you could apply colors to old games with the GBC.)

Someone bought me a Tamagotchi about 3 months after they first came out, I played with it for about 5 days and then got bored. It’s probably dead now, decades without food can do that...

I don’t even remember what I did with it.

It's probably hanging out with all your starving neopets. You haven't fed them in forever, either, I'll bet.

Speaking of Pokemon, I wouldn't mind if Nintendo released an official English version of Pocket Monsters Green, even in ROM form. There is a Pokemon Blue hack that can patch it to be exactly like the Japanese Pokemon Green in English form, but it'd be cooler if Nintendo released an English version officially.

Better yet if they made an official green physical Cartridge to sell alongside the GameBoy Classic (also a cool way to show the GameBoy Classic is also compatible with cartridges).

Although right now I am happy with my physical bootleg, I would still much rather have an official one though!
