This is a good concept. It's a shame I own every single one of these titles and would only double dip for 4K versions.

Bastards, trying to hit on my nostalgia.
The black with colour lines in middle look so damned familiar.
Just don't think I can double or triple dip based on a cover.
And the old-school VHS size case...too big.

Shame but it is what it is.

If only the creatives/suits at these major distros cared a little more for authenticity and used the original theatrical key art or video artwork for ALL of the titles.

Edit: Yeah I just took a look at all of them and they're not all great, though I'm ashamed to admit I ordered Jaws because it really works.

This is cool. They are capitalising on the current 80's nostalgia buzz going around. These are very much like the Stranger Things VHS release.

I wanna know what they look like inside though...and they should have gone all out and put the correct ratings logo for the time...actually a lot of them probably didn't even have a rating...

These are awesome and I'd definitely consider buying them, but I'll need to see more pictures. They look awesome though!

I remeber renting Stand By Me on video literally dozens of times and wish this new release had the same cover art as it did on VHS 30 years ago. I'll still buy it tho but can't wait to see the swag inside.

I'd rather just search out the actual VHS's. Now that's real authenticity, bonus you get a vhs tape with it.

This. Honestly.. Use the original artwork or GTFO - epic fail.

If these are full VHS thickness I might consider blowing $120 and getting the lot. Would look great on the shelf.

Cool idea, but not particularly a fan of the execution. I would hope that the modern ratings on the box are on the shrink wrap and not the case itself, but even if that were the case (no pun intended), I feel they could have done a lot better than just using the latest cover art for films. Oh well, I already have the proper VHS releases of Jurassic Park and ET.

Won't be double dipping for any of these, but might grab Stand By Me, since I don't yet own it, and again, I like the concept.

I ordered six of the nine. If they would release some horror titles in packaging like this I would buy them for sure.

Video Hoarders - Episode 1 (Jamie Tate & Josh Schafer) - YouTube
Yeah I watched all the episodes they have up a few weeks back. I enjoyed it and there are some crazy collectors/collections on there. I'm not that big on the idea of collecting old VHS movies myself I donated my collection to the op shop back when DVD came out, but if I see a movie that I like on laser disc and it's cheap with cool cover art I usually pick them up as they look good framed.
