It Debuted October 31, 1992

I love this Cartoon I think it still holds up and the cartoon did storylines better than the actual movies have. I know some people don't like it to each there own. I loved this Cartoon's version's of Wolverine Gambit and Beast.

Incredible series. I watched them all over the Summer via Hulu, and it's definitely one of the best cartoon series from the 90's. A lot of themes are quite mature, and thought-provoking compared to your average kids show. I'd also say that it handles some comic book stories way better than any of the live-action films.

Also look at how they handled Racism towards mutants in that cartoon and see how it still holds up to what goes on today in the real world

I collected the Hardees kids meal toys for this show. They were some of my prized possessions as a kid.

The X-Men themes are timeless because of how they were handled for the most part in the comics and the animated shows.

Yup. Loved this series and have them purchased & downloaded to 2 of my iPad/IPods from Amazon. My 10 yr old loves this version of X-Men as well.

I just watched the DVDs to this show last year and it was amazing how well the vast majority of it held up. Of course, it makes sense considering they adapated the definitive X-Men stories, just threw in the current comics team.

It's a shame the DVDs didn't bother putting the episodes in chronological order though as it was a pain in the ass to go back and forth between discs.

True, but I'm glad we at least for the whole show on DVD... I'm still waiting for X-Men Evolution to get more than 1 season

Same here.

As much as I love (some of) the films, this was the X-Men I grew up on. I never gravitated toward comics as a youth, so I came to love X-Men through this show. It did, and still does, mean everything to me.

In a perfect world, yes, we would get the show remastered for Blu-ray. But I was simply overjoyed several years back when it got put out on DVD at long last. I'm grateful for that much.
