Default Where is Rob Enderle now?

Who here is looking forward to Rob Enderle eating mounds and mounds of crow? I know I am. With all the exaggerations without facts to back up his exaggerations I'd love to see just how he spins Warner's death blow to HD DVD as good news for HD DVD. I'd especially love to hear his take on the cancellation of the HD DVD CES Press Conference. I guess time will tell, I'll warm up the popcorn in the meantime.

Cowering under some rock, the same one that HD-DVD is attached to sinking towards the bottom of the ocean.

Someone should go to his house and see if he's ok. I'm sure he took the news pretty badly.

He's already given his thoughts on this! He stated that WB going exclusive to HD DVD would win the war for HD DVD, but WB going exclusive to Blu-ray would cause a stalemate (only in Bizarro World does that make sense).

He then stated that a "stalemate" could be WB's intention, to pave the way for digital downloads.

I think he's spending the next couple of weeks downloading a single HD movie.

I'm sure he's just out looking for a new company to feed him paychecks in order to promote their crap.

He'll be touting digital downloads or may even try the "I've really liked BD all along and was always neutral and open minded" tack before long, if he hasn't started to try it already.

Basically he'll continue to echo whatever line Toshiba puts out.

Enderle, is without a doubt yet another paid shill for M$. I wonder how much money they have spent this year on these paid bloggers and viral marketers?

He comments in the LA Times

Quote:
"I think the fat lady just sang," said Rob Enderle, principal analyst with Enderle Group in San Jose. "This gives Blu-ray a decisive lead. The question now is whether it is too little too late."

Enderle said consumers might have moved on to digital downloads to get movies rather than wait to buy them on next-generation DVDs. The next big chance to sell high-definition movie players won't be until next Christmas, he said. "By then, it may all be moot."
And the next chance to sell PCs capable of playing downloaded movies on a consumer's TV?

He's already switched to talk about digital downloads as per Microsoft's party line...

Read it a couple of hours ago, but can't find the reference, it was in one of the newspaper articles about Warner's announcement (NYTimes, LA Times...? )
